I strongly recommend you consider working with Carla for any and all of your book publishing needs. Carla laid out my book, The Perfect Free Throw. Carla also did the cover design and even made the recommendation for a shorter title (Original title: The 18 Laws of the Free Throw). This is my second book and I have used multiple editors and layout designers. Carla is the best out there! Aside from her amazing work, it is evident that she loves what she does so much that you will certainly get more than you expect at a price that is affordable.

The Perfect Free Throw

I was referred to Carla to help me publish a book of my memories. Before selecting her, I asked if she would be willing to read the manuscript of approximately 140,000 words. As I intended to insert many (150) photographs in the book, I wanted her familiar with the stories. Not only did she read the manuscript, she scanned the 150 photos and inserted them in the appropriate chapters and pages. She then guided me regarding book size, paper stock, type style and font, cover design and much much more. She suggested a publisher that would provide a soft cover proof before doing the printing run. I found sixteen corrections going through the proof. The book would have had some glaring errors if she hadn’t insisted on this step. I have received numerous compliments on the quality of my book and the credit goes to Carla!

Carla is my secret weapon for publishing books! She makes my books look great, but she is also a fantastic project manager. She keeps all the details and dates in order, reminds me of critical to-dos on all the platforms involved, and goes the extra mile to make sure the book comes out on time and in excellent shape. I recommend her to my book coaching clients all the time and will be using her myself again soon. She’s a top-notch pro!
