Leave things better than you found them

That notion can be quite a challenge, depending on what the “things” are. Scale matters, of course, but that shouldn’t stop us from trying to make the world a better place. Because baby steps beat inertia every time.

So with that perspective in mind, I set out some months ago to start a revolution of kindness and gratitude. Big goal, right? Well, why set the bar low?! I believe even an itty bitty effort in the right direction can make a difference.

I turned to my tools of choice — words, colors, ink on paper — and created WordCharma, a collection of thoughtful sayings designed as small cards to keep or pass along. By sharing words that inspire, lift us up or simply make someone smile, we can each put more good vibes out into the world and create a ripple effect of kindness, caring and community.

You know, brightening someone’s day really doesn’t take much, just a shift of attitude from finding fault to giving praise and encouragement. Put yourself on the receiving end and it’s a no-brainer about which one you’d rather have coming at you.

WordCharma makes it as simple as leaving a card for someone to find, because sharing WordCharma is where the magic really happens, where hearts warm, where kindness is nurtured.

So today, on World Kindness Day, I share WordCharma with you. And I invite you to join the kindness revolution, inspire others with good thoughts and deeds, and put more joy, hope, laughter and light into the world.

One person can make a difference. Let’s start with you, and together we will leave things better than we found them.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”2522″ img_size=”medium” alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]
